Vision™ Images
Visual traceability supporting transfusion safety
Vision Images automatically transforms immunohematology test results into clear, comprehensive, and immediately usable composite images, without any user intervention.
Key benefits in daily practice
• Enhanced safety of clinical and biological decision-making
Each image consolidates test results, patient data, analytical context, and any detected anomalies (red highlighting, error codes, result modifications), enabling safer and better-documented result validation.
• Comprehensive traceability compliant with regulatory requirements
Lightweight, long-term archiving of result and QC images, automatic generation of QC PDF reports, and preservation of all critical information to support audits and accreditation processes.
• Significant time savings in routine workflows and emergency situations
Near real-time image generation (~1 second), automatic filing, and intelligent naming allow immediate access to images through intuitive search functionality.
• Assisted and reliable result validation
Direct integration of images into the validation software provides the biologist with a complete, contextualized overview for each clinical decision.
• Automated and controlled quality management
Automatic QC handling with real-time verification against expected values, immediate alerts in case of discrepancies, and instant, instrument-specific structured archiving.
• No additional workload
Background operation on the laboratory network, with no impact on analyzers or Vision workstations.
• Multi-instrument capability
Management of up to 10 Vision™ instruments using a single software instance, including the Optix™ instrument.
Summary
Vision Images secures, simplifies, and documents the critical step of immunohematology result validation by providing biologists with a reliable, immediate, and durable visual record of results and clinical decisions.
Based on Vision instrument results and raw picture, a composite image is created
in less than a second and stored with a dedicated name like:
"05726710_GROUPE SS GR-RAI_405252_123456.JPG" (Sample ID, test name, cassette number, wells used)
...including Patient demography, tests with respective color + results and flags, cassette number and reagent lot, instrument number...
...with deep details like panel cell number in use for titration...
All QC images are created (like patients) and send into a dedicated QC folder
A table is automaticaly created to store all results by lot
Also, pdf + xls reports are automaticaly generated when lot is expired
Up to 10 instruments can be managed
also multiple site through the same network
just with one apps
Enhanced information are shown and irreversibly write on the image and saved
Images can be imported into IT validation solution...
Flexible configuration especially to fit your situation...
Reduced size image (~150Ko) to assume long traceability... and useful naming.
Perfectly tuned to collaborate with Valorigen... (see dedicated chapter).
