Valorigen

Secure and automated generation of Vision™ instrument compatibility panels

Valorigen automates the generation, interpretation, and documentation of red blood cell compatibility grids, in real time and without any human intervention. It provides biologists with reliable, standardized, and immediately traceable decision support.

Key benefits in daily practice

• Critical time savings in routine and complex cases

Complete compatibility grid generation is performed securely and reliably, eliminating the risk of human error. The grid can be consolidated with screening test results (then 14-cell panel), even when originating from a different connected instrument. Optional interpretation and automated comment generation are completed in less than one second.

• Clear and structured decision support

Intelligent merging of results (tests, temperatures, enzyme treatments, etc.) into a single, clear, and clinically usable grid for biological validation.

• Maximum safety in assisted immunohematology interpretation

Optional automatic application of recognized interpretation rules (homozygosity/heterozygosity, exclusion of positive or equivocal reactions), significantly reducing the risk of interpretation errors.

• Standardization of laboratory practices

Comments are generated according to published rules and the laboratory-defined priority order, ensuring consistency and reproducibility of interpretations.

• Robust and long-term traceability

Lightweight images are automatically integrated into the LIS and archived long term, providing reliable and immediate documentation of each biological validation.

• No additional workload

Fully automated background operation, with no data re-entry, no reagent lot selection, and no manual intervention.

• Multi-instrument support

Management of up to 10 Vision™ instruments using a single software instance, including the Optix™ instrument.

Summary

Valorigen securely accelerates the generation and interpretation of compatibility grids, supporting the critical step of antibody identification panel analysis by providing biologists with a reliable, documented, and compliant tool—ultimately enhancing transfusion safety.

Option 1:
Valorigen create automaticaly a report for compatibility panels
Patient demograpy, SID, PID, Result date, Reagent type, lot and expiry date are automaticaly filled
The result grid is integrated and different grids are merged.
Final image is created and stored in less than a second
with naming as "000687596605_RAI + 0.8% PANEL C_20250414134150.jpg" (SID_Test name_YYYMMDDHHMMSS)
Note that IAT results (3 cells) are automatically merged in the grid with panel (11 cells) the total report is 14 cells.

Option 2:
Valorigen automatic resolution is activated:
A: Previous results are integrated (here O- Kell: NEG ccee AutoTest: NEG)
B: Lines are filled based on rules
C: A suggestion grid is filled - knowledge of literature. (optionnal)
Final image is resolved, generated and saved in less than a second

Note that both merged and resolved can be stored in separated folders.
